The Lake Forest Racquet Club is home to four lighted clay courts, two hard courts, full service pro shop and attractive membership rates. We offer a full-scale tennis program that includes everything from junior development to ladies' beginner and advanced classes--there is something for everybody at Lake Forest Racquet Club. You becoming a member can make us even better.
The clay courts close for maintenance everyday from 12 pm to 3 pm, they are open from 8 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 9 pm. The hardcourts are open all day. Although the clay courts and hard courts are open throughout the day, the proshop does have limited hours of operation. Please check the pro shop window for updated hours of operation.
Summer Tennis and Swim Camp 2025
Uber Junior Tennis boasts the most popular summer tennis and swim camp on the Eastern Shore of Alabama. We have been operating this particular program for over 10 years now. We came up with a camp that is extremely fun, active and educational. Our summer program is designed to introduce kids to the game of tennis and give them an outlet of a healthy summer lifestyle. Our camps run various weeks throughout the summer Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
Our 2025 Summer Camp Dates are:
June 9-12 and 16-19

Junior Classes
Thursday Kids Beginner Classes
4:30 pm to 5 pm Ages 4.5 to 6
5 pm to 6 pm Ages 7-9
6 pm to 7 pm Ages 9-11
All classes are drop in classes and cost $15 a class
Our Tennis Director
Michael Albrecht, USPTA
Michael Albrecht is a USPTA Elite Tennis Professional since 1997 and has been the Director of Tennis at Lake Forest Yacht and Country Club since 2002. Coach Mike is a graduate of Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC with a major in Marketing and a concentration in Tennis Management (1 of 2 schools in the country to offer that program). Over the years Coach Mike takes pride in developing players from the ground up resulting in top high school players with state and southern rankings. During his time here, Coach Mike has introduced well over 1,000 kids and adults to the great sport of tennis.
