Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Covid 19 protocols for members, guests and employees. Due to the widespread Delta variant and the impact on our local community, we are now instituting the following:
Effective Immediately:
Face coverings required for vaccinated and unvaccinated people to enter all Lake Forest properties. NO EXCEPTIONS
Six feet of social distancing required inside and outside. If you cannot socially distance 6 feet when you are outdoors, we recommend you wear a mask.
Hand sanitizing stations will be placed at all entrances to our buildings.
All employees will be required to take a temperature checks upon arriving to work. This is for the protection of other employees, members and guests.
The Back Deck and 19th Hole
All events such as Bingo, Karaoke, live entertainment are canceled. Buffets will not be served. Regular menu will be available. No parties greater than 10. Take-out orders will be allowed.
Face covering required when entering or leaving Yacht Club. You may take it off when you are seated.
Bar seats will be 6 feet apart along with dining tables properly distanced.
Golf
Lake Forest will adjust daily Golf operations under following “touchless” guidelines until further notice:
a. All transactions will be by credit card or member charge. Operations will be cashless until further notice.
b. If paying by credit card, the player will swipe his or her own credit card (similar to Publix, etc.). The member and/or guest and staff will have restricted interaction during payment process.
c. A maximum of 6 persons (including staff) will be allowed in the golf shop at any one time.
d. Bag drop and club cleaning services will be suspended during this time.
e. Players will load their own clubs on carts and then back into cars
f. Staff members will sanitize bag drop area twice an hour
g. All carts will be sanitized when returned after play and prior to restaging for next groups play
h. Starters will all maintain 6-foot radius from groups when organizing play off the first tee
i. All players will be advised to leave flagsticks in the hole. Cup will be raised eliminating need to tend to or remove flag stick.
j. All rakes will be removed from the golf course
k. Sand bunkers will be raked in the morning and by Rangers throughout the day.
l. Flag sticks will be sanitized daily
m. Bag stands and benches will be removed from the practice areas
Tennis
The racquet club will remain open for normal court hours. The pro shop will be for restroom use only and will be closed for all other business.
Pools
The swimming pools will remain open. Signal 88 roving patrol will remain in place. Furniture will be spaced appropriately. Members and guests are asked to sanitize furniture before use.
Additional Sanitation
The cleanliness of our community and club is always a top priority for us, especially during this time. In addition to our regular cleaning procedures, the following additional sanitation measures are being enforced at Lake Forest:
Contact surfaces, door knobs, door handles, counter tops, hostess stands, bathrooms, etc. will be cleaned and disinfected on an hourly basis during peak business periods.
Menus, check presenters, and pens need to be wiped down after each use.
Touch screens, keyboards, and phones will be cleaned and disinfected daily.
As circumstances continue to change, our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming place for all of our Residents/Members/Guests across Lake Forest. Based on current guidance and our own standards and practices, we remain open and are committed to providing an outstanding experience for you and your Guests.
Always remember that washing your hands for 20 seconds frequently, social distancing, wearing a mask and getting vaccinated is the best way to help stop the spread.
